I need the voltage dropper that drops the voltage down to 6v for the smiths gauges, Its the little silver box. can anybody help?

The bi-metallic voltage stabilizer?
Youd be best off buying brand new from Somerford Mini Spares.

Only a couple of quid and they are problematic at best. Buy a new one for piece of mind.

cool will have a look there then, had a look at bingley hall but the only one found was £15 and looked 2nd hand!

Get on Ebay, you can buy a solid state version for not a lot.
And I think it's 10v not 6v.
could be wrong though
