Hi, before on my 1.3 engine i used my 998 flywheel housing which had a shorter arm. Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

din`t realise flywheel housings had arms . Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

The longer arms are for the older "lockheed" type clutch, the shorter arms are for the later "Verto" type.

So the flywheel housing wont be interchangeable? Id rather have it like my last setup on my 1.3 MG engine. Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt

the housings are the same. Use the short arm with the verto and the long with the non verto..easy!

To avoid confusion, "flywheel housing", usually refers to the "side case" or transfer case. The turbo items are different because of the nose bearing size.

Oh i get you. My clutch is pretty new :( Im sure last time though we just swapped the plates over from my 998 wiht the small arm onto my 1.3 which previously had a long arm. Make sure you are using the correct release bearing. The verto and non-verto are very different.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Ive got you. OK, can i just remove the pin, and swap the big arm on the turbo cluitch plate with a little 998 arm so that it will work? Previous Engine: 1040cc Morespeed engine, 1275 turbo head T2 Turbo Mirage Manifolds Megajolt
