Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

pretty sure it would go un-noticed if you removed them...

It wasn't my choice to MOT it as an earlier year, they must of just seen the black plates (I forgot to take off), old rear lights and grill and then put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5! *laughing*

your more likely to get pulled over by the old bill if run around with black and white plates rather than no side indicators i would of thought!

side repeaters on minis should be banned! and sportspack arches should be smooth and not have the side repeater indents in them!

Betwix Harrogate and York

My 86 had side repeaters.

I fitted a GRP front and just used the side repeaters on the front and never had an MOT problem.

IIRC it was April 86.

With current MOT test regs if they come up in the check and they can't tick the box on the screen (because they aren't there) the machine (not the man) will fail your car.

Black and White plates are a bit of no-no too (as you all know) but as the tick box on the screen will read something like "Both plates fitted and in good condition" so you may get away with them.

Give it a try if your brave but I'd not play with big brother these days .... has a nasty habbit of bitting back!

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I thought about fitting them to Candice's car as the way the muppets drive round here you can do with every possible way of being seen ... not that they are looking!!!
