hey guys, ive recently had made an adapter plate using a drawing found on here, and also have done a search regarding fitting it.
however i came to fit it and buy searching other posts found that i need to mount it on a slight angle on the manifold?
when i offer it up to my manifold the only way that i am able to clear the old studs that i chopped off is to place it at a large angle, this will then throw the turbo out?

So is what im saying sound right?
if so would tilting the turbo cause any problems internally?
cheers

Mines got the square hole in the plate cut at an angle so the plate goes on square

My T2 sits at an angle. it's no problem with regards to running.

no probs dude, the actuator mount is the std one that came with the turbo...if i'd made it there'd be more tape/cable ties *wink*

It's a Nissan one Cherry / Bluebird I think.

Meastro / montyno-go diesel turbo one is easy enough to make fit too IIRC.
