I love it. I had an allegro once with an MG metro engine in it. It was rubbish, but I loved it. I would love a turbo one now.

My first car was an Allegro, 1275cc!!

I was watching a minter on Ebay that went for £220, if only i had the space!

I did'nt care at the time it had a brown vynal roof, brown vynal seats, no headrests, a square(ish) steering wheel and a mono radio(no FM!!)

It was a place to shag and a set of wheels that never let me down.

mind you not as big as the rally 1800 landcrab they were huuge!

my dad had a couple of 1800's and a wolsley 18/85 (the same but a wanut dash and twin carbs)

oh and a 2200 auto.

I'm not sugesting that. I just vaguely recall that Jim at this year's Avon Oark meeting said he was going to shag in the white van. As far as I recall, Jon had left by then.
