Wish they did know that and the WRX drivers too. Imps are nice.

The imp belongs to a chap round the corner from me. It is a real tribute to what can be done on a budget, he was thinking about slapping a Bini blower on it for good measures but I'm not sure if he's still going to go down the forced induction route or not.

do you know what gearbox he's running?

I've heard the imp box is a bit fragile.

The box is a brand new MGF box. The whole engine & box assembly is transversely mounted slightly in front of the back wheels.

Ah that make sense really....

I had visions of a k series hanging way out back.*laughing*

I have a bit of a thing for daft engine swaps, at one stage i was thinking about putting an Mi 16 in the back of a skoda rapid*happy*

evedently the gearboxes are just too weak for this kind of power.:(

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I had some fun with a new shape scooby type UK. He couldnt understand why a focus was glued to his bumper!

he only left me when he started getting stupid!!! having a laugh, yes, taking risks, no!

Oh indeed! Like the vid someone posted on here showing a Micra with a GTiR lump in it. It was shot from the WRX so you could see his face. He even tried a second time as if he had grew a few hundred horses between races.

Indeed my mate was unamused when he found my N/A 1380 could stick to the rear bumper of his Scooby up to about 60.

Bastard rushed out and bought an STI though... didn't stand a chance there!!

can't wait for my mini to be done. *happy**happy**happy*

My leon was good fun for that, it just looked like a crappy 1.6 but was as quick as a scooby.

Alex's mk1 golf was still my favourite ever sleeper though.
