Need to change my house and contents insurance

anyone happy with the price they pay and the service they have receved ?

Direct Line have always been cheap for me. Never had to claim luckily...

Esure were always good but now with legal and general which seems a bit cheaper for more cover.

Again though, no claims to speak of.

I got mine through Master Quote, with the insurance company being Heath Lambert.

Good price, but so far totally shite service on a claim.

I've not had a ceiling or a carpet since November when I had a big water leek.

My roof has now leeked, all they could do was send me a form. I though that might have at least sent someone round to have a look at it. I've had to sort it all out myself.

I'm now down to 2 fully decorated and undamaged rooms in my house. My house has 12 rooms!

I reduced my buildings premium by £130.00 with the same company by using them - even ringing the company would not budge! Also got decent cover for contents and unlimited cover for workshop & tools for £120pa

as you know wolfie it pays to shop around

mine came in this year 10 pounds higher from more than 298 pounds

so i shopped around and to my suprize BARCLAYS came in at £242
