providing my moped gets sold tommorrow, i can get started on my turbo project, i was wondering whether a 1098 would be alright to turbo, |

If your not going to rebuild the engine and have most the bits already, then give it ago. You'll be learning all the way 9 valves, 4 wheel drive, 3 cylinders, 1 turbo, which got nicked |

you don't need to rev turbos lots to get the power, so a 1098 will be fine On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

the only other thing is that it has the same bore size as a 998 but with shorter pistons, these pistons are as rare as it gets because no one really has 1098 any more and also the standard ones may not handle a high boosting turbo, if i can get some good 998 pistons can they be machined down to fit or will i have to get some custom ones made?? |
