Wont bore you with the long storey behind this one but i have to get rid of it to make space for new projects!

The shell was brought by me about 8 years ago, it was a rot box and with the help of my dad we welded it up replacing the inner and outersills, the whloe a-piller on both sides, and the rear valance and windscreen scuttle. Panels alone cost almost £1000 i think! My dad then thought it would be a good idea to deseam it so all 4 seams have been cut back and welded. I also attempted some 'custom' style rear lights but im not sure if i like them now tbh! i started to do the filler and bodywork. Apart from the interior the whole shell (top and bottom) was baremetal'd and painted in etch primer. I have started some filler work in some places but generally it needs the filler doing. Rear bins, seat pan and lower dash rail have been chopped out as i was going to fit a cage.

Shell includes its original log book which is a 1979 1100 clubman. Obviously front panels have gone for a flip front aswell!

And thats about as far as i got! Its a good shell which is 100% solid with no rust. all work is of good quality with only a few 'patches' on the rear seat pan spoiling it a bit but it woudnt take much to fix that. The rear lights might look a bit crap but you could easly cut them out and weld in some of those 'mk1 style' conversion plates insted.

Asking £300ono

If I had a way of getting this back to Bristol, I'd take it so fast you'd wonder where it went!

There is no sense crying over every mistake- you just keep on trying til you run out of cake.

aye, even if you didnt want to fit a cage you could just wang a bit of box section across for the steering to mount to. Make it nice and low for a better driving position too.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
