I would not personally go for a dog box for a road car, and if I did I'd buy it from somebody else!!

Ratios would probably be ok, the range availalbe for a Mini of the shelf is a little restrictive

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

leeds/wakefield.

they look bloody good to me, a nice long first to bunch the rest up,
dogs would be a pain in the arse for a road car though.

It was just that i had seen this gearbox on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...25181&rd=1&rd=1

and wondered what it would be like. The car would not be used much on the road. Once every few weekends, but mainly on track days and stuff like that.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

yes the clubman gearset
superb ratios for the turbo engine

these are only a nats off the the same ratios as the metro turbo challange ratios

this togeather with 3.1 FD or 2.95
depending what you want to do with the car

The 2.95 is just that bit longer and allows the torquey nature of the turbo engine to be exploited well. It depends on what you want the car for Mark, I have built mine with a 2.95 diff with 13" wheels as I want to be able to drive it down the motorway at 70-80mph without it screaming its bollocks off.

PM me your email and I can send you an excel graph of speeds vs rpm in each gear for a Tran-x gearkit with a 2.95 diff.
