It dosen't make it absolutly clear what is happening, but if you pledge to help the environment then you can get your name on the car (I guess it'll be very small).

btw it asks you to pledge money too, but I put in Zero and it accepted my pledge.

Well honda are doing this off there own back instead of getting sponsors! so they will be losing out big time!

They still have plenty of sponsorship. Non of the money pledged through this initiative is going to Honda; all for charity mate.

Another site, "The names will be pixels that make up the image of the Earth. They can be viewed by microscope on the car and the website, which launches Feb. 27"

Peoples names will make up the image itself. Kind of like microprinting on paper money. If your name is pixel sized (online), and it falls on a space that is the ocean in the image, your name will be a shade of blue. A sort of pointillism drawing made with tiny letters.

I think it's a cool idea. I donated a few dollars!

oh yeah i know they stil have sponsers, but i mean its a good thing what they are doing as they have lost all the advetising space that is on the car itsself!
