i have searched and found nowt so... where can i get a fitting to screw into the turbo for the oil return to get me back onto some silicone hose? this will be the final piece of the jigsaw before the conversion.. i hope lol.

it normaly comes with the turbo.

you could try "think automotive"

i got a different one, i cant remember the thread though :( but it wasnt a spurious thread or anything i think it was quite common. then we cut the pipe and welded it at 45 degrees

i did get one but it comes off with a male thread instead of a union. could i use copper to make a tail or is that illegal?

Try a company like AET in wakefield or turbo technics. Don't try making one - it'll end in tears for the cost of a pukka fitting.
