i have a 1275 sprite block was wondering can it be used to build a turbo unit will the gearbox fit the block.

Im sure the blocks are the same as pre A+ blocks.
Let me know if you want to sell the sprite crank.

I seriously doubt it!

Whip the sump off and check to see if there is a hole in the web above the centre main. If there is it might be best left alone.

Is this a weak part of the block. i know the head is a 12g940 but this means nothing to me

It's considered not so good on a high performance unit.
Is it definetly a Sprite block? If it is the head should be big valves.
