Quick question for you, I need to weld together to U Beams, 203x102 UB 23 to 178x102 UB 19.

The thickest part of the web is 9.3 mm. What amperage mig would I need to weld this?

Cheers

you can get away wit 0.8 wire around 120 to 140 amps

spot it, weld and then latic it over

Thanks Ben.

This is for the my new workshop, it the 2 beams will be joined to make a T. Do you think I would be better off welding or bolting them together?
