Easy.

You pop it alongside one of these beauties!

And to give an idea of scale, this is an M6 bolt (10mm head)!

I'm still on the lookout for a HIF38 to accompany this btw!

It is.

Comes with an integrated turbine housing /manifold, so will need some chopping and welding...

I've no idea what they boost at, but it was quite a stiff actuator pre-load - I'll guess at 9/10 psi...

I'll take a boost gauge up to the inlaws next time I go and see if I can have a play with theirs.

Might need a paper bag for my head though.

Dave there's a Small Chevy GEO in the US using the IHI RHB31 and it's good for 600cc and 50-100hp.
There's a guy on Ebay selling them from Japan for around £150.
It's water cooled and the wastegate is set at 12-14psi STD.

Tiny little thing.

Yep - seen them. My smart unit was $120 though! Can't justify over double that money for the lawnmower LOL!

I've got a mate who got a turbo charged smart if you want I'll have a word with him to see how much boost he's running & the like.

Also I've got a spare HIF 38 you can have but it needs a new base plate, and a rebuild, but then you'd probably want to do that anyway if you're converting it for forced induction.
