Think they're M8 so should be easy to get. I could be wrong though. |

As Iain says they're M8 as sold in any hardware store, even B&Q!

K-Nuts are the ones to go for if you can be bothered to get hold of them. They are compact and use a smaller spanner or socket. 8mm nuts use a 10mm socket, 5/16 use a 3/8 socket. This is handy where space is tight to get to them. Not cheap, expect to pay around 40-50pence each.

Can you recomend a source? The place I normally get my hardware from is quoting significantly more than that .... I guess they are taking advantage of the fact we are in an areospace area :( Every day is a school day ...........

They are also a proper lock nut, they are much better than a nyloc, not that you can use nylocs on your manifolds. Be carefull buying cheap nuts from shops as they could be a very poor grade of steel and not all that strong. You can get silver K-nuts that have a higher temp tolerance, these are even pricer at about a quid each. |

God, don't quote me on the price !! lol. I just buy them and dont really look at the cost. But i think it's about right for that size, they get more expensive as they get bigger and smaller, i bought some 3mm ones a while ago and they were over a quid each i think !!!!
