Yes, I have made a tactical decission. I need to be getting on with the build and unfortunately there have been several things holding me up. Namely the turbo manifold*frown* I do not posses the ability to make this myself, and it seems that those who can do it wont respond to my phone messages and emails (no Jim I dont mean you*wink* ) I do believe there is some one who can do it for me, but im looking at the time scale, but mainly the cost and the overall set up and tuning time. There is no way that i am going to be rushing to finish things anywhere near the time of Avon Like i did last year.

Im STILL waiting on my front end, ive got my mates 1275GT to weld and MOT, ive got a mini trailor to build for going on holiday, as well as paint and decorate the exterior of the house, work gets in the way, the wife wants to go places, yada, yada, yada.

Bottom line. It was only supposed to be a budget build and be reliable, some where along the line i lost that strategy. I am just removing one complication for the moment at least.

What this means. I wont kill myself on the B roads with mahoosive power. Regain a certain amount of reliability ( i wont break things as quick) I will be running in class B, hopefully near the top some where???. The engine will be in the car within 6weeks ( the 1400 has droped 150psi compression on cylinder1 and cant be arsed fixing it). It will be easier to set up seeing as its my first DIY EFI. It will be cheaper allowing me to buy those big brakes, uprated suspention and bucket seats. And, will free up some what more room in the engine bay.

I think its better to walk first rather than run. I started this project almost 2 years ago, before I had a mini to put it in, before I knew anyone on the mini scene. The thunder has been some what stolen, Inevetable really, not regretting that or holding it against any one, just need to move in a direction that others are not*tongue*

So, I now have up for grabs a brand spanker IHI RHB5 with exhaust inlet and outlet flanges in 321 and 304 stainless respectively. I have also the K head exhaust flanges in 321 stainless, but no addapters as i was going to weld these direct to the headers. Im keeping the Intercooler*tongue* Offers please if you are interested, This will be going in the for sale section with pictures*smiley*

John K, a PM coming your way*wink*

Jimster, Thanks for your help mate and no, its a decission thats been on my mind wor a while*oh well* Pass on the thanks to those concerned*wink*

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
