Below is a list of the things that have been done (or are in the process of being done to convert my 1983 mini mayfair to something a bit pokeyer:

Start with 1293 A+block - was a stage 3 normaly aspirated lump.
Fit:
Omega 10cc turbo specials,
Wedged, X-drilled, Nitrided crank.
Kent 500 cam (possibly want to go wilder later)
Piper duplex lightened cam drive.
MED Light steel flywheel, (for standard non-verto clutch)
Orange diaphragm, organic plate.
Central Oil Pickup.
Avonbar turbo special head (dual valve springs, big valves, polished + flowed with modified chambers)
Full timing cover and flywheel cover breather points.
TurboTechniks Rebuilt T3 on standard actuator,
Mechanical (ball and spring type) boost controler.
Diaphragm Dump valve,
Cosworth Mk2 Intercooler (need hoses!),
Plenum pipe and modified plenum (bolted plate + gasket over the old dump valve hole)
Minispares ally inlet manifold (if it fits, standard turbo if not),
Standard turbo fuel pressure regulator, pump
Rebuilt carb, needle and jet.
Oil Cooler,
Pacet Cooling fan.
Cast Water pump.
Turbo head gasket,
Ni-Chrome minispares head bolts,
Stainles exhaust mounting studs.
Metro Turbo Electronic dizzy (later type).

Minisport Alloy 4 pot calipers on 7.9 inch vented disks (so I can put 10" wheels on if i feel like it!)

Fully adjustable bottom arms and tie rods.
Avonbar ultimate enginsteady,
Maniflow mini downpipe and turbo mini exhaust,

Avonbar bulkhead box (not fitted yet - have a pet welder to do the job)
Solid subframe mounts +poly teardrops.
S/S Braided brake lines.
Poly engine mounts.
Redrilled Subframe. (a la avonbar)
AVO Adjustable shocks.

I only ask for advice on one thing - what did I forget to do?

Edwin

And if anyone has any good ideas for cam and ignition timings with set up then i need them in a hurry!

Have had 106 degrees quoted for the cam as a good baseline, and the standard metro turbo timing for the ignition?

Cheers,
Edwin
