You could try bending it but its 1/2" thick. Youll probably have to replace the shaft.
Paul

I seriously doubt it!

Personally I would try and bend it back, you've got nothing to loose really.

Maybe a bit of localised heat could help to bend it back?

Have you tried to select the gears by hand with the linkage disconnected, or is it the bend limiting its travel?

Be careful you don't damage the diff casing bending it.

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

danny also had this problem with his (pot_dan) but he ended up having to change gearbox it was never right after he bent it back :(

remember to change both the outer seal and the inner one (the ring wuith an 0-ring behind it usually) if you are going to heat it up they will likely melt

i doubt it would be any good after beding back as its held in place by ally and that will proberly crack the main case. and needs to be a true slide inside the main metal runner.

box out job realey to do it proper and replace with a staright one

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

i think you can get uprated versions of these from she engineering (the place that sold those mechanical clutch conversion iirc)cheaper than a genuine one costs?

It is ..... however there doesn't seem to be anything on the other shaft on the site. I rang him today about something else and hoping he'll get back to me, I'll ask for details then .....

at least it's teh right site ... which is a start .... LOL
