Hi all. I am after a Ford Ka for my girlfriend. She has just sold her 206 and well needs a car ASAP to get to work in and She wants a ford Ka, Looking to spend about £1300 ish.

its slim pickings round this area.. also she only wants one with body coloured bummpers and it can't be red etc..... trying to get her to buy a mini but she won't says i would mess with it and make it breakdown... which is pure sillyness..! |

Check it for rust,bloke at work has a w reg one and it looks well bad around the sills,bottoms of doors

Why buy a KA? Isn't the Fiesta the same price? Or even, why sell the 206? That's a half decent car. The KA isn't. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

i'm sure plenty will disagree, but i'd steer clear of fords. The newer ones aren't so bad, but the older ones seem more trouble than they are worth.

The 206 is a pille of pooh. it rattles it grones the build on them is worse then rubish. also Selling the 2000 pug pays for my mazda and buying of a Ka, so two for the price of one. and when your poor like me trying to buy your first house, cheap is good! she likes the Ka thinks there nice and girly, she only wants it for a year then when she changes job will get somthing abit bigger with more power. She wants a Herald convertable... which mite be a summer project.

ka could potentially cost you in repairs though. Would argue the build quality is no better than the pug. |

My sister has had 2 Kas and had no problems with either. She got her current one from here http://www.thekapool.com/

Got one. The Ka is alot simplier beast, so any repairs i should be able to carry out my self were the pug was abit..... well French. Just got to sell the 206 now. |
