You know that part that sits on the bulk head for the engine stabiliser, seen in the picture.How do i get to the the lower nut ?? I cant seem to find an exit to them .. cheers

The bolts wont come off :(

Uses the bolt holes that teh left hand drive pedal box would have used.

I normally leave that bracket on once mounted unless I am painting the car. There should be enough movement to get the bar free from it, then remove from the engine end.

i welded the bracket in place so cant remove it. never had a need to remove it either.

the nut you are looking for is inside the car and its a bit tricky to get to

There is no way to get to the bottom of the nuts from inside my 1275GT :(
Really need to get this off :( anyway else know.. thanks

Mark, there is a way, trust me!

Behind the bulkhead carpet and sound deadening you will find a recess in teh bulkhead the same as the one the pedal box uses on the other side of the car. The nuts will be in there.

righto, look under the steering column, and look where your pedals meet the master cylinders...

its in in the same place.....on the other side

Got it off :) thanks to me girlfriend holding me nuts from inside the car lol shame they wasnt mine lol
