My bro has used a place called metal supermarkets, but I have no contact info. Ben?

I brought 2 metres from a place called Radicool in Brackley, if i remember correctly i think that it was only a tenner, which i thought was quite a good price.

Be very aware of the Ebay seller in Brixham. He lists items saying there are 30 available. I bought a length of 3" ally tube in january, it never turned up. Eventualy got a reply saying that he didnt have it in stock and was waiting on it coming in.

So, He never had it in stock to be able to sell 30 pieces in the first place. Still not rceived it, paypal claim in my favour.

The guys feed back reciprocates this

Just be warned, steer clear of anyone selling metal stock in Brixham.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

cheers guys, Sprocket i will stay clear of that company in Brixham then!

does the pipe need a lip at each end to stop it 'blowing off' (oo-er) or is it fine just cut to size?

I like nice quiet girly Minis

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

merlin motorsport at Castle Combe do good quality tubing and can bend it and also produce the lips on the ends.

Not cheap though but then again quality service rarely is.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Without any flared ends i have never had a hose pop off and have run upto 18psi. But good idea if its easily available.

Near Lincoln

try your local conservatory place.

my mate works for everest and just drops off full lengths when i want them in 2" dia.

You may find they'll give you some offcuts.

2" stainless is a lot handier worked with. At least most mortals can weld it.

As for a bead, Id say it is important. Nothing worse than having hoses fly off !! A simple bead of weld around works fine for a lip.

I wouldnt be using anything more than 2" on a Mini. Simply no need to complicate the plumbing. Space is already tight enough.
