Plan A is a mirage package, plan B is a home made manifold, would you gents mind sharing a few pics of your home made manifolds, either rear mounted turbo, or remote, anything is good! Just trying to get a few ideas on the go at the moment.
Thanks
Shane.

i was going to go mirage manifolds when i started my turbo build but was out of my price range a little so i made my own , basically i held the turbo as close as possible to the block and it fits a T2 without firewall mods

this was my first one on the left and my newest one on the right (both hold turbo in same position)

original was arc welded medium wall 34mm gal pipe and bends were made by cutting wedges out.
new one is medium wall 34mm steam pipe and tig welded and is off to be ceramic coated atm

Did you have the flanges made or did you use a standard(ish) manifold and chop it?

Looking good for a home brew ..... my last attempt at something similar (Toyota 4AGE turbo in RWD kitcar) looked like a dogs breakfast in comparison!

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I was planning to use 321 grade stainless, I have been recently installing a few air conditioning units at one of my local metal bashing firms, they have laser cutting facilities, was going to ask them to knock out all the flanges I needed for me, but that kind of went out of the window when at 07.15 am on tues I accidentally put a 30 mm sds masoary bit thru a fire alarm cable, DOH!! Think Illl leave it a week or so before i stick my head in their office to ask the favour!!

I'm thinking along the same lines. I've found a company local to me that can cut the flanges.

Have you got a source of 321 grade stainless bends?
