at the minute i have a 1380 unit installed with a brand new fully rebuilt gearbox with cross pin diff. its running around the 95bhp mark but i want more power. i'm looking at all the routes such as supercharger, 16v head, nitrous, turbo, etc. what would i need to convert it to a turbo setup. looking to achieve around 130-140 bhp. so far i have come up with this list. please add to it

8mm fuel lines
t2/t3 turbo
t2 would need mirage manifolds
fuel pressure regulator
mpi fuel tank
oil cooler

use that cam and get a chambered head to about 28cc and with a ic you hit that mark easy and will be a great motor

In english? What are you trying to ask? Where does it attach? Or what pressure does it operate at? Or what pressure can you adjust it to safely on a standard engine?

turboing IMO will be the easiest and cheapest route,
from your list i would ditch the T2 and oil cooler.

to fit a T3 you will need to weld in a bulkhead box, i would do this despite the effort rather than pay out for the mirage manifold, (for the price of a mirage manifold you pretty much can get a T3 rebuilt) then you can have a T3 or a T2 on the metro manifold.

I would fit an oil temp gauge and see how hot the oil gets, then and a cooler if its needed.

apart from that it sound like you've done some decent research.

a LIL fishing village on the coast - Newcastle Upon Tyne

think its been covered already if u gor 10:1 comp sounds like ure block may have been decked, alternate the head skimmed. you dont have to use a turbo cylinder head, you can use a stock 1275, but i would get the chambers opened out to 28cc. (speak to BENROSS) personally i would check what oil pump u got as you will also need to feed the turbo from it and its the life heart of the engine *wink* i would keep oil cooler on but thats just my opinion bud.

whilst you got the lump out you can change ure petty lines to 8mm feed and return, put ure fuel presure reg in, and square ure bulkhead box away.....i would consider cutting a small angular shape out of the bulkhead to the right of the box itself (thre is posts on this) as it makes more space for the turbo intake pipe *wink*

130 - 140 is probably going to require circa 12psi boost (I will probably be corrected here) anyho get ureself a good efficient intercooler. 2wd cossworth ones are around 30 quid on ebay and are a popular choice. there are however many others Landrover etc etc etc.
