Didn't the woody's have Mk1/van type doors? On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

Have to look at doing that then, find a clubman estate with a rotten front. chop the front off flipfront round nose. i don't mind about the doors being the wrong mark and then fit the wood pack. by that time my Dad mite of retried and make the wood for me. He loves wood work.

Its an odd thing. On the morris minor woody the wood was part of the structure, but on the mini it was purely cosmetic. Its like a really early body kit for the decerning chav. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

got to share this..... We're got the log book at home for a Woody that my mum used to drive. Bought from Apple Records which Beatles were with. When she bought it from the garage in Sunningdale they removed the bands signitures from the headlining before she picked it up....doh!!! Was taken off the road in the early 80's because of worn steering colume bushes (the felt ones) then scrapped. Want to find a shell and use the Reg, I will one day.

Only the very early ones had the smooth roof though, the smooth roof ones also had an internal petrol tank too if I remember rightly.

your right about the petrol tank tom. the early ones had the std petrol tank inside the boot area. they were the very early ones though. the roof skins changed a few years later on. balls to the blower!!!

would it not be simpler to chop a van than a clubman estate? |

Vans are almost as hard to get hold of a woodys. I would really like a pickup but there rare and pricy, clubman estates seem easyer to find and cheaper.
