Just bought myself a set of unused brand new old stock turbo 4 pot calipers, vented discs and pagid race pads for ?125 including postage to N.Ireland, so I am chuffed to bits.

The pagid pads seems to have a connector fitted, i.e. brake pad wear sensor i assume. Do I just simply cut this off flush? or must it be kept?

Cheers,

Paul.

P.S If anyone is interested in those 2 pot alloy calipers with 10" discs that fit under 13" wheels my mate is still selling them for ?115.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Yep, just chop it off mate, metro's used them thats all. Suppose it would be fairly easy to wire in if required.

I assume you would just have to earth one wire..power to the other and wire in a dash warning light in between? Does that sound right?

Not 100% but sounds right, assume it just wears down so far and then makes contact across to act like a switch.

Lot of hassle though for not alot, check out the metty haynes manual wiring diagrams.
