Could'nt you just do away with this and have an adjustable bias valve going to the rear?

you can fit an adjustable bias valve instead, or just adjust the standard one.

yes, whichever is the right length to reach the master cylinder, so measure the old one and pick the right length *wink*

Instead of that brake limiter valve thing you can have a little knob *tongue* mounted inside the car which lets you adjust the rear brake efficiency, so if your back brakes lock up you can turn them down a bit. Not really needed on a road car, as turboshed said i think you can adjust the standard one.

this is a typical bias valve

nah just bleed the brakes as per normal. To be honest i didnt know you could adjust the standard 1 till turboshed said it, so wouldnt know how to. Id just leave it as it is if i were you as it will be set how it left the factory

Where are you located?

If the old unions are in good condition I'd make you a new pipe out of some left over kunifer I have.

In fact, sending me the old pipe and me returning a new pipe using the old unions will cost around 50p.

Learn to spell brake, we're all pedantic bastards.

As for adjusting the standard valve, you need to modify it first. I personally think the standard valve is fine for road use.

I always thought a PWDA valve was a handy thing to have on a road car, if one circuit fails then it seals it off allowing you to brake with the other? A brake bias can't do that that's for sure.

The valve on the rear subframe can me modded to be adjustable. I think KC covered this in Mini Mag.
