I like nice quiet girly Minis

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

If you had no material around you'd be looking at about £12 - £15 for the 1" sqr box section in a reasonable thickness and you'd have to spend another £10 or so on the material for the end tabs if you have to buy a length.

To be honest even with the material around I'd buy as the time to mark out etc if you've never made them before will be more than you'd have to spend at work to pay for a set.....

I'll probably make them for my car but then again I'm a tart and like everything to be a little unique in some way...

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

If you ask around a few fabricators you can get normally pick up the steel for beer money.

I'll probably be making a pair shortly, as I enjoy making things, especially if the welder is involved.

Out of interest are the off the shelf brace bars solid mounted or are there bushes in there (not sure how you'd fit bushes mind).
