Hi, Im Rob from Yeovil in somerset, I know Jon F quite well, Im new to all this forum stuf but from what Ive seen it looks like dam good bunch of people!! Im looking into doing a K1100 Conversion to my old faithfull mini, normally aspirated to start with then see what we can do with a turbo/supercharger at a later date(After the wedding!!) Does anyone have any tips or pointers to get me started in the right direction? Is there a kit I can buy, if so where from and roughly how much? Many thanks for any help! Rob |

hi Josh, Ive got loads of turbo bits kicking about and will be turboing a mini I share with a mate in the near future, Im looking into doing a normally aspirated K1100 converstion to my own mini, and am looking for pointers? with the idea of going forced induction at a later date?

Specialist components are the people to speak to abou the conversion kit.

Made some good contacts today, found out one of the guys I work withs dad owns a BMW Motorcycle dealership! Could be a handy contact! I sent my mate away with a shopping list, so just have to wait and see what comes of it? Fingers crossed hes got a head and cams etc sat under the bench! |
