In the intrest of getting this thing on the road (and giving my finances a well earned rest!) I am thinking of not installing the intercooler or dump valve and leaving the boost at 8psi untill its run in, I wont push it in that period anyway. So waddaya think?
I have 9:1 Compression and will be running megajolt.

Also what would you say is a good run in period?

500 to 1000 miles i would say, 500 take it a bit easy like normal driving, then use the last 500 to start giving it some stick but watch out for lean fueling of corse

Crack on and use it - I assume you have an O2 monitor in there to tell you how the mixture is doing?

OK thanks Just wanted to confirm that--and yes I will have a wideband O2 sensor so can keep it nice and safe till I am ready to get the Intercooler in and try bumping it to 10-12 psi Still not convinced about a dump valve for such a small turbo so hopefully I'll have a better feel by then. In anycase I think I'll go recirculating, don't want to give the game away with all that pshhhttt do I... I'm looking forward to having fun with the local boyz.

The engine is half built now and I will probably be ready to install it next weekend, Then the fun starts as I need to fabricate a manifold and downpipe for the GT15.....
