yes all the holes drilled and taped and the faces machined.

hers some pics of mine as it turned up,

Stuart Gurr built my head up for a very reasonable price. It worked out considerably cheaper than buying a built one from Minisport.

Alex, I only have one question....
.
.
.
.
Why???????

Injected 5 port isn't far off and the K head conversion isn't a bad price and flows very well.

I am not being negative .... I am just interested in the reasons for wanting to go the 7 port route ..... does it have exceptional flow figures etc?????

I am interested as I know nothing about the 7 porter

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

I do still love the idea of the 7 porter. Not Alex's words, but why I think I would go for a 7 porter.

1. It is a shed load less work than k conversion. and are more charming.

2. who cares that the 5 port code is on its way, a 5 porter will never flow like a 7 port crossflow. (well I do care that the 5 port code is on it way.)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I like them for similar reasons, its a fairly simple upgrade for someone running a 5 port as the exhaust side of things doenst change at all.

Still doing a K though :p

Fairy snuff.

It just seems to be a lot of money for little gain IMHO ........ unless the inlet flows significantly better.

Right spoken to my mate a Ricardo and he says that when the engine is on forced induction the advanges of a crossflow head decrese and a well ported 5 port should be on pare with a good 7port as the forced induction over comes the short commings of a 5 port head. However on a NA engine there is no question a 7 port will be much better.
a guy he knows has a flow simulator which mite be able to work it out, there is a flow bench at the uni he mite be able to get the head on if you want the cufuffe.
