Hi has anyone got a spare good condition metro turbo crownwheel I could buy from them? (61 teeth I think) because one of the teeth on mine is slightly chipped.

Cheers,

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

how chipped?

It may still be of use. put a picture up *smiley*

You should change worn crownwheels and pinions as a pair ideally.

i askes the same question a week or 2 ago.

so i guess the most people would say: use it!! it isn't that bad.

there is nothing wrong with a A-series that a turbo can't fix.

Dremel possibly a bit harsh, I'd use either a very fine file or some emery to just remove any sharp edges and then leave it at that.

No problem using that ... just dress it as has been stated. I have used a sanding drum in a Dremel before now but go gently with it, all you want to do is clean up the burrs, any loose bits and remove any stress risers.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
