hi

just wanted to say a big thanks to steve (benross) as iv now got 2 minis!! so when the white one runs out of tax it will be off the road to start the turbo madness!! i will then stick the 1275 mini on the road as my daily drive.

after a tasty bacon and egg sarnie steve showed me the mini and told it exactly how it is and didnt hold back telling me about the bits that need sorting etc (not that theres many!!)
he even leant me his harness straps as i only had ropes! ill post the harnesses back when i get a chance mate, (you will get them back definatly)

it was a bit of a trek from my house to his but it was well worth it just to meet him as hes a top bloke and knows his minis inside out!! and i got a few things i wasnt sure about the turbo conversion explained!

we had a cup of tea to see if the weather would blow over.... and it did (sort of) so he then took me out in the benross machine! lol and what a machine it is!! lol i think its the quickest thing iv been in, i reckon my mates intergrali would have a run for its money!
he didnt have the boost at maximum as it was a bit damp and just dangerus! its a shame it started snowing as my dad didnt get a chance, but i think he got the idea of how it went lol!

will definatly be getting my head and manifold modded by steve as iv only heard good stuff and after meeting him it just comfurmed it!

he even took the time to collect my doors for me off of richi which was very kind of him and saved richi the hassel of posting them and me the worry of them getting damaged etc..

i will post up pics of the mini as and when i do stuff to it etc!

i just need to get my dad in two 2nd gear and get started on the barn!! i think i might teach myself to drive the mini digger!! lol

hope to see you again at some shows steve, was a insperation to meet you and go out in your mini!

top class bloke cant fault the man at all, and the sarnies are just the cherry on the cake !

Josh do you now see what i mean when i stated in my "BENROSS THREAD tm" that he and his car are an inspiration to all !

i was thinking about perhaps suggesting a whip around to cover costs for his tools for doing all the mods for us, the price he charges barely covers the cost of his equipment, and it works out that he spends hours of his time on us lot for free !!!
