I know there's been a few threads on arches recently regarding quality issues.

Just wondered if anyone has fitted these or the grp 2 version?

They seem quite highly priced compared to others, is this price reflected in the quality?

I used to have them on one of my S lookalikes with 10inch minilites. They were fine, but to be honest I couldnt really tell the difference in quality between them and my old cheap ones off ebay on my 13x7 mini

are you still running the wellers on your car dude?

i've got the same wheels and cant find a suitable set of arches, grp5's are too wide and make it look over arched, but std plastic and grp 2's are too narrow to keep the old bill happy.

Yea still running Wellers 10X6's, I know what you mean about the width, they can look abit overkill.

My bro has got the cheapo group 2's from minispares and they seem quite good, so was intrigued why the "top quality" ones were nearly twice the price?

He's running Revo 12 x5's and they seem spot on for that width.

i'm tempted to try a set of the wide grp2's from huddersfield spares, but not sure if they'll be too wide. i guess i could always trim the lip off the edge though to thin em down a bit.

What do they give as a measurement of the width?

Ive found that by squeezing the two ends of the arch together it does tend to flare the top out a tad more, and suits the radius of the wheel better, but im not sure if grp 2's would quite work!

If its not too cold may have a quick play later (with the arch before anyone makes any sarcastic comments) Lol.

huddersfield say they're 3.75" wide...but i know antons just had a set of grp 2's off them that were quoted at 2.5" wide when they're actually much narrower and dont cover his 10x6 revo's.

here's the wide grp 2's anyway.

They do look quite wide, the wheels in the photo look like 13 x7's and they cover them.

Reasonably priced though, (if there good quality)?

Tried some group 2s off my bro's mini (red) the front ones look like they should easily pass an MOT, haven't had chance to do the rear.

These are my old ones, grp 5s basically!
