As the title says really... if any one has a Vmax kit i would very much like to see how the kit has gone in and what you thought to it, Also if any one has got a jonspeed set up and if they have had problem with it.

your more than likly right that i could build a supercharger install my self. only really tricky bit is the inlet manifold and possibly the bottom pully mods. But Vmax and jonspeed talk about mods they do to the charger but i don't know what these mods are. the BMW charger as far as i know isn't designed to put fuel though but both people put the carb before the charger and there for fuel is going though.

this would be a good manifold to start on but bit pricey.

The drive belt is an optibelt omega m8 toothed timing belt (they come in loads of sizes, this ones 1120) and the pulleys are readily avaliable if you search google for 'm8 pulleys' |

their a routes type (spelling??) it can handle up to 14 psi i think before it destroys the coating on the rotors, around about 8 with the standard pully, another good thing is it has a magnetic clutch so i can turn it on and off (mad max style) |

PS. The toyota charger is not designed to have fuel put through it, but the bloke (good bloke indeed) who makes the kits for that setup here in Adelaide puts water and fuel thru his at 12 psi so yeah no problems! |

Has anyone managed to mount a blower in front of the engine or is there not enough room? could you do it with one of those extended front jobbies? |

A guy in Australia has a front mounted blower (above alternator) on a Moke, was in a Clubman front before that, won't fit a roundy though.

I've seen one done like that in a mini mag or world afew mounths ago... had to cut some of the front out to get the pipes in. I think the carb was after the charger on that... |

I'm in the process of converting mine to front mounted! And it will fit under a round nose with no extensions.
