When would you consider a crankshaft to be in need of a regrind? The journals on mine are in very good condition and only a couple of the journals have very-very minor lines on them. No grooves whatsoever.

Have them measured to find ovality and taper. You cannot feel this. Have someone with know how to check. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
