Does anyone know if an 8 valve cam cover will fit on a 16v head?

It looks the same apart from a plate in the centre where the plugs go, this looks removable anyway?

Take a look at the positions of the bolts. On a K100, they are like this:

On a K16v they are like this:

that an 84 head as well - so no unleaded valve inserts! - back on topic the covers are very different as explained by Dave

LOL, i too was curious to your super human powers of deduction *laughing*

There was a complete k1100RS engine on ebay for 50 the other night and it didnt sell. Very odd. It did have cracked left and right covers though.
