Yours from the Funny Farm

just bought a brand noo fuel pump for the yak
its a facet the basic boxy one
but it came in a plain white box with no instructions and i dunno how to fit it
first off
both end holes have rubber bungs in them. what do i do with them?
2nd
there are 2 black bits of pipe threaded at one end and beaded at the other, which im suposing fit into the aforementioned threaded holes to take the fuel lines. am i right?
3rd
the box also contains what i am assuming is a restrictor. its again threaded and beaded but is much longer and fatter than the 2 black things (its the same color as the pump body) and contains something which looks like a bit of condom inside it. where the hell does that go? and do i need it? bearing in mind this is a bone stock 1100 motor.

thanks a lot and sry for the silly explanation
not knowing the proper name for things is a great handicap

1 and 2 you seem to have sussed, 3 is a pre pump filter to stop shit from your tank clogging up your pump.

i dont want to brag, but the condoms I use are much bigger....

as t2 said? Is this for a turbo? If so it's no good as i think they only make about 6psi. You need either the metty pump (silver tube about the size of a coil) or an mpi or spi tank and pump.

They are good pumps ... used one to supply my 122bhp 1380 and never had a fuel starvation issue.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
