Hi ive got a complete rebuilt 998 standard thjats done bout 500 miles now i just want make it into a turbo.
Any ideas on another rebuild or could i leave it with standard crank n pistons wiv standard head too and jus have the turbo running about 5-10 psi

Thnx Mike

depends on what th CR is. Between 8.5 and 9 to 1 is ideal. If it's a later high compression A+ it could be as high as 10.3:1. The easist way to reduce the CR is with chamber mods to the head.

you should be fine leaving everything standard as far as the bottom end goes. I'm planning on doing a similar thing with a max boost pressure of 8psi , hopefully I'l see 80 or 90 bhp.

Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry.
