Anyone know of where I can get a decent looking rear foggy....if thats at all possible?

All the ones ive seen are big plastic ugly things, I swear ive seen one that is really slim with a chrome surround but can't find it anywhere?

Ive been borrowing my brother for MOT's for the last few, and I gets annoying having to take it off each year...Lol

Cheers

Matt

Yeah I have mk2 lights, I was on a similar line of thinking, but I dont think it would be acceptable for MOT's...Lol

Yeah Jackman, that seems to be the only place I recall seeing them, but never really take note of what shop they are....normally too dazzled by all the chrome goodies..:)

Found this site...looks really good for any heritage kind of lights.

The foggy isn't a straight bolt on job by the looks of things, but could be a last resort!

Yes Europa spares may be a good one to try, they specialise in Cobra kitcar stuff but may well have something that fits the bill.

This is what Hudderfield mini spares sell to bolt in the same place (apart from its a reverse light)...so im guessing the single bolt fixing will fit without mods?

Will need rear valance re-drlling. I am using one from Europa. They do all sorts of stuff, not just Cobra related stuff although that is what they made their name with.

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

Has anyone got a pic of a standard foglight bracket. Not too keen on drilling the valance as its just been sprayed!

It might be possible to mod a standard bracket instead.

I can't believe no one sells a chrome foglight that fits directly in the original location...

Just to let you all know, the fog light must be about 100mm away (i think) from the brake light for the MOT boys. Thus why it snt in the cluster

Its the SVA that requires them to be seperate from the brake lights. Thats why you see all the jap imports with cheap and nasty fog lights bolted on in odd places.

If its just for a MOT, just make sure it works.

I thought about putting an extra bulb in the right cluster in with the brake light etc... not too sure where I'd stand with the MOT guy though?
