Ive modified my dials, im going for quite a simple interior, but i didnt want to take it away from being retro too, but i really hate the look of standard aged smiths clocks, so I removed the stuff that wasnt needed...

Looks alot more simple, and i think it should look good in the car, ive also got rid of the ugly air vents.

Also i modified my tim boost guage and fitted a smiths chrome bezel to it...

I like the idea, the boost gauge looks out of place now though. Look at the Racetec ones in Tweekies, much more in keeping.

I think the airvents are a god-send, and wouldn't remove them. Not pretty, but VERY useful.

I agree with wil, unless the boost guage is intended to stand out.

Edit: I do quite like the dials though.

Just thinking ..... what have you blocked the holes up with? Don't want the back of the dash getting damp and the mould coming back!!

I have a set of the blanking plates I'd swap for the vents and vent spigots...

I'll post them after the bank holiday mate .... my postal service here in Cheltenham is flaky at the best of times ... best not to get them an excuse to loose them!
