I got bored earlier so decided to pull the chrome trims off my wheel arches, sand them down smooth and paint them in gloss black.

I just wondered what everyone thinks as to whether I should bung the trims back on or leave as is.

The wheels and arches will also be replaced in the summer when it gets its resto, which cost me £330 yesterday for panels and stuff to overhaul the suspension.

Looks better to me but then again I have never been a fan of those stainless arch covers.

Anythings better than the chrome but saying that I do have a strange liking for the stock arches colour coded.
