Hello All,

At the moment, I'm busy modifing the chambers of my cylinder head to drop the compression a bit.

I will need to purchase some rockers in the near future and wondered what you lot are using.

The engine spec so far is basicaly the MED 1293 turbo kit,(including their cam which I don't have data for) Fitted to a MG metro head with the exhaust valves fitted from the turbo head.
I'll probably run 10psi boost with a intercooler.

The vizzard book recomends 1.5:1 ratio rockers, but I'm woried about losing low down grunt and ending up with a laggy engine.

Anyone have any expereance with the MED cam or am I best contacting MED?

I would use the 1.5's personally, i belive it will not affect low down power/torque that much. Benifits will outway the losses due to better power higher up.

?! Is the water jacket in the standard MG metro head going to cool it enough? The Met Turbo head had a modifyed water jacket to help cooling !?

The MG head will be fine. And i would say it is worth fitting the rockers, you shouldn't see any real loss low down.
