right then
looks like hammer and breaker bar to the rescue !!!
I just dont see how I can get the crazy angles that I need as one end will point straight to the block
the other to the inner wing

WIll keep you posted

I use a dissy cap off a maestro, it is a side exit cap. Gives me space at the front for the RS intercooler. With the grill on.

Another plan is to undo the bolts that hold the alernator together, and rotate the body so it can hang upwards. You need a different fanbelt and make a few brackets, I investigated this when running a front rad but scrapped the idea in the end. Would have worked though!

** The side exit cap only fits a mini dizzy (the bigger one) so you need to get the advance curve sorted.

Yes Jon's innerwings are cut out but that has nothing to do with making space for the intercooler, i use a series 1 Rs turbo item unlike the more popular S2 version. Go for a S2 as they have proved to be more efficient.

As you should know it is best in the cool air flow for maximum efficiency.

It does make life alot easier for changing clutches etc, yes my oil cooler juts under the drivers side partially. 5KG less weight to!

Think im loosing the front end completely after this year! Do enjoy working on a flip front car more!
See how i get on, less weight if i can afford a curley one aswell.

If anybodies thinking of doing this though id recommend a 2 piece one every time!!!
