Especially as it has a Prodrive Performance Conversion done to it, not sure on the mpg figures yet but i used to have a 2.5 V6 Mondeo which was around 19 mpg so cant see it being much worse than that but we will see *smiley*

I have got a 95 WRX that i have had for a few years now, i keep telling myself that i need to sell it as i uses shed loads of fuel, less then 20mpg all the time, and if you try and drive slow (which doesn't last long) it seems to make bugger all difference.... But i must say that its been a great car and i am sure you will enjoy the new wheels.

I like nice quiet girly Minis

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

I used to have a jap inport STi4 and that gave 22mpg no matter how it was driven .... drive like granny 22mpg, drive like Burns 22mpg ..... drive like a rep 22mpg.

I was convinced that there was a valve somewhere that diverted fuel to the road if you hadn't used enough!!!

I got bored with it very quickly actually. They are so capable that to be having fun you are basically tearing up your licence!

In the end I sold it and went back to Porkers as they are better on fuel (easy 30mpg in normal use .... about 8mpg on track though) and it is more fun on the cotswold rads around me as you can get it sideways and chuck it around at lower speeds ..... although if you don't prevoke it the porkers will hang on as well as the Scooby but then when they do break they tend to do it with 4 wheels rather than snap.

If I could only have one car however, and it had to do everything, a scooby estate would be somewhere near the top of the list ...... just behind an RS6 Avant.

Trust me though .... compared to the Mundano it's going to be a blast and compared to an EVO it's going to be very good on fuel .. LOL

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

so 20-22 mpg sounds like a good bet then, which is better than the Mondeo did so cant really complain then

Roger i was tempted by the estate version but decided to go for this one for the mo, but when the family grows then an estate version it will be

A mate has an Evo V11 and the stories he tells about the fuel on that *surprised* ouch, you need to fill up every few miles
