Anyone guess where ive been?! went on a site visit not far from here so talked my boss into taking me on the way back! only had mobile on me so the pics arnt brilliant but i thought it was good *happy*

The sad thing is, that engine would probably leak about the same amount of oil when running as all of ours do with no cut-aways!

Despite what people say about the engine and gearbox sharing the oil, it doesn't really matter as most minis run a "total loss" oil system anyway.......!!

They were made to leak its to stop trhe front subframe leaking, and depending on which system it is they can protect as far back as the rear subframe!

My exhaust tunnel is perfect after 27 years. I think I have changed oil about twice in 7 years, usually I have a massive leak which does the job for me or something goes bang and I need a rebuild anyway.

i always have a nose at that when im there! i just think it was a shame they did it to a turbo lump! o well! lol atleast you can see whats going on inside i supose.
