Adelaide Australia.

Quick run down.

It's an Aussie built '64 Morris 850. Now wind wind ups and Cooper S add ons.

Car was restored by me and my dad over the last 4 or so years but has been on the road for a year now.

Engine - MK1 Cooper 'S' block cam, crank, rod etc. Mk2 'S' head. Overbored to 1330cc. SC-12 supercharger from a 4AGZE motor from a Toyota Corolla. Dizzy is from an N-12 Pulsar and has 3-2-1 LCB extractors, 2inch exhaust straight thru muffler. Oil cooler, Hi-Flow 2 core radiator etc etc etc.

Suspension - 'Hi los' all round, Spax Gas adjustable shocks all round.

Wheels- Minator 10x6s with Dunlop Formula R tyres.

Rover Cooper interior (I think) with homemade dash and centre console.

More info see my car domain is my sig.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers, Tim.

That is a lovely looking car and a very nice install. It's a personal thing, but the only thing i'd change is the bonnet stripes. Home made dash looks really good too!!

Go like? Pretty good but I'm having issues with it right now. Can't get the air fuel ration correct.

It was good but was flooding sue to having a 'gross jet' I think they are called and it was vibrated (even with the carby soft mounted (not in that picture) so my tuner changed it and I haven't got it right yet. Should be able to but the only flaw with this kit is the mixture adjuster is very close to the intake manifold and exhaust, very hot! So it's a slow process.

<edit> What I should ahve said was it was running fast but flooding at low rpm due to a bad harmonic vibration making it fast but not road able. There is a dyno day coming up so hopefully I'll have it sorted by then.

Yes it does, especially with the roof. In March on the way to a Mini show, at a red light a Commodore (boring locally made car) stopped next to me wound down his windows and said "how much did the roof cost!" I said "WHAT??" due to the excessive engine bay noise, I heard him the 2nd time and yelled back "None! We (me and my dad who was sitting next to me) did it our selves!", he then gave the thumbs up and we drive off as the lights had gone green, luckily there was no car behind us or him, they would ahve got really annoyed!
