hi, will an mg metro spec head fit a mpi cooper engine. have posted here before, was wondering about an mg head, sw5 cam, and 1,4 ratio s rockers which i already have. What size overbore would the rover standard injection be able to run with this setup?
what diff would be best to use, as i would still like to be able to cruise at 70-80.
i would change the induction and manifolds as well. thanks

The MPi head has a different shape under the thermostat housing, if you try to put an MG or normal 12G940 head on an MPi the alternator drive belt hits the head. Plus there are no mounting holes on the front of an MG head for the MPi alternator bracket.
Not an impossible job but not easy...
