Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Not a cheap thing to build. Apparently mine cost between £30k and £40k to build...

Much better to buy one someones already built, although the fun isnt there, financially it makes sense

I keep thinking about doing Mini 7s class but it all comes down to practicalities ...... It's all about the cash at the end of the day but 7s doesn't seem too bad.

In all the years I have been into Minis I have seen only 1 7 / Miglia meeting and that was at the 40th aniversary.

Awesome machines Miglias

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

7's can be had for around 4-5k i think for a nice one.

i got told when i bought my mig that if i fancied a season, for a cheap season with few things going wrong you'd need about 5k.

I'm still tempted someday to be honest. i sometimes think i should of left the car how it was and just raced it but its still going to be fun as it is.

Still need to secure some decent sponsorship to be able to afford £10k per year. I've not been in a competative drive since the late 90s so I'd have to self fund for at least a year in order to be able to get any help at all .... by the time I can afford that there will ne no Minis left .. LOL

Still one day ...

Alot cheaper buying a car already built. Same kind of money for metros.
