Hard decision this, but I've decided to sell the following Mini. Having owned it for over 10 years, done all the hard work and spent in the region of £5/6000 getting it to it's current state.
Started life as a '82 Mayfair which was stripped and had all the usual panel replacement, plus double skinned floors, bulkheads sealed and roll cage installed. Was then fitted with brand new subframes and all new Cooper S brakes (Not reconditioned) Spax, Hi-Lo's, Rose Joints, Superfins, etc...custom one off wiring loom, all fuses/relays in custom centre console and brake/fuel lines routed inside the car.
All that's left to do is engine/gearbox (I do have a rebuilt 1293 MG lump aswell) interior and fuel/brake lines to plumb. Plus paint. Easy finish for the summer, as I say all the hard work has been done.
V5 Included aswell
Mini is located in North Yorkshire (I live in Belfast, and can arrange to have it shipped to NI if required?)
Lots of pics here: http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s175/La...i%20For%20Sale/
Please email for full spec, far to extensive to list here!
Looking for £2,495 ovno...you will not be disappointed with this mini
Any questions, offers or advice then please get in touch...Cheers, Mike

not given people chance to have much of a look!
but it seems a lot of money for a mini that doesnt drive.
unfortunately thats the problem with part finished projects.

I hear what you're saying completely, just anxious to sell before I change my mind about doing so...again!! excuse my anxiousness - don't even think that's a word!?
I've spent twice what I've put it up for, if not more...what do you reckon it's worth? Bearing in mind the spec is extensive, will mail it if you wouldn't mind looking it over as I've been out of the mini 'scene' for a while now, however my guess is Minis are still rusting as fast as ever and for someone with a running car with shot bodywork and running gear, It doesn't get any better than what's sat in my garage surely...?!!
Cheers, Mike

put the spec you were going to email up on here, i'm sure it will be more than appreciated.
I can see your point about "re-shelling" someones car but its a lot of wedge to spend to splash out
if you can get someone to think about it then it more than is worth it though.

my advise would be spend a little more and get it finished then sell it, unfinished project sell for peanuts normally. put in the engine youve got put 12 mths mot on it. you should do ok (ish ) then
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
